What is the Timothy Oulton Studio?
The Timothy Oulton collection embodies the designer’s love of antiques and British heritage, resulting in unique pieces with their own charm. The collection includes sofas and armchairs in classic and contemporary designs, as well as matching occasional furniture and accessories. Timothy Oulton began as a small antique shop, owned by his father in 1976. Profoundly influenced by his love of antiques, his father’s military background, and an inherent affection for British heritage, Tim created an authentic, visionary brand with the deepest integrity and a passion to deliver the extraordinary. The Timothy Oulton furniture collections are handcrafted with only the best traditional techniques and fabrications. Inspired by the past, but designed from a contemporary perspective, they push the limits of furniture design.
For example, why not check out the Timothy Oulton Westminster Button 3 Seater Chesterfield Sofa – with its distinctive deep buttoned detailing, Timothy Oulton’s Chesterfield sofa takes a modern twist on a classic. Around 1300 studs are used to create the Westminster Button Sofa, each applied by hand to create a luxury finish. The distressed Union Jack leather adds an antiquated aesthetic, while its refined proportions provide a modern touch. The frame is made from Kiln-dried hardwood and plywood with corner-blocked joinery, while the suspension is a S-shaped steel sprung seat with elastic webbing for heightened comfort, elastic webbed back and arms.
Another great product you may like is the Timothy Oulton Reclaimed Wood Gert Larder – after its successful debut in 2011, the kitchen collection has been dramatically expanded. Several large pantry cupboards have been added, including the stunning Bowden pantry. There is also a modular set of workbenches and wall-mounted storage units that can be configured flexibly to fit any space. Last but not least, the classic pine finish is now complemented by Spitfire and shiny steel.
Looking for a new Mattress in Teesside?
If you are looking for a new mattress in Teesside, why not consider a Tempur mattress? These are on display now at Barker and Stonehouse Teesside Park – TEMPUR® Material was developed in early 1970 by NASA to absorb in-flight pressure felt by astronauts. Over the past 40 years, the material has been expertly adapted for use in mattresses, pillows, and more. Tempur’s first product, released in 1991, was an instant success thanks to its ability to react to the movement, weight, and temperature of each individual. Now, two decades later, they are renowned in more than 96 countries worldwide, and TEMPUR® Material remains the only one of its kind to be certified by NASA and the Space Foundation. Backed by extensive research, Tempur continues to expand its product selection to suit individual sleep preferences, providing the luxurious comfort and feeling of weightlessness that scientists first set out to achieve.
